Jimmy Fontenot, President & CEO
Jimmy Fontenot has over 45 years of experience in the pipeline construction industry. Before coming to MPG Fontenot served as General Superintendent for Willbros Construction for 10 years and prior to that he was a Superintendent for Michael Curran & Associates and Delta Gulf. Fontenot’s knowledge, respect and labor-force following have served him well in successfully executing pipeline construction projects of all sizes both domestically as well as overseas.
Aaron Simon, Vice President & COO
Aaron Simon has been with MPG since its inception in 2008 and was fundamental in providing leadership during the company’s start-up phase. Simon is responsible for all project management operations and the estimating functions of the company. Prior to MPG, Aaron served as General Superintendent for 12 years at Willbros Construction. Simon has also held project supervisory positions with Sunland Construction and WHC, Inc.
Ken McDougall, Vice President, F&A
Ken McDougall has nearly 20 years of management experience within the pipeline construction industry. Before coming to MPG, McDougall worked along with Jimmy Fontenot at Willbros Construction as Vice President of Construction. Prior to that he held positions as a project manager, estimator, field engineer & office manager with many of the industry’s top union contractors. Ken is responsible for the financial & administrative functions of the company.
Corey Butaud, Director of Health, Safety & Environment
Corey Butaud is a dedicated safety professional knowledgeable in the management of Health, Safety and Environmental regulatory required safety training , policies and procedures, workers compensation and DOT OQ and OSHA safety compliance. He has been with MPG since the inception of the company in 2008 and over 14 years in the oil and gas industry. Corey holds numerous certifications to include COSS (Certified Occupational Safety Specialist), CSSM (Construction Site Safety Master), RSO (Radiation Safety Officer) and CSHO (Certified Safety and Health Official) as well as being a certified trainer for numerous entities to include NCCER, OSHA, and PEC.
Bruce Ainsworth, Operations Manager & Estimator
Bruce Ainsworth has more than 12 years of experience in the pipeline construction industry. He started his career with an offshore pipeline contractor in the Gulf of Mexico, followed by more than four years of onshore international pipeline experience in Africa and the Middle East. Since returning to work in North America in 2008, he has been directly involved with the construction of more than 1,200 miles of large diameter pipelines, approximately 60 percent of which he estimated and project managed.
